Nanny Chronicles: of dispair

Oh fuck
What have I done
noise noise endless noise
And no escape.

Nanny Chronicles: of laughter

mouth full of deodorant
processed spring breeze
laughter peels through the 'yucky' faces
and my heart is undone

Nanny Chronicles: of death

but i, still working, saw only my chores before me.  your cries reached not my ear, muffled cries passed unnoticed.  down, down was your descent.  somehow still composed.  still retaining your own gentle essence.  somehow.  passed out of existence, out of all existence, until naught remained save a china frame, a matted shell, a perfectly molded speck of dust.
but i, still working, saw only my chores before me.  you passed unnoticed.  down, down, you passed to dust.

Nanny Chronicles: of light

blueberries and sunkissed palm trees
open moor with fresh-awakened blades
frostbitten teardrops on blue heather flowers
puppy breath, dissonant chords of amateur violin, chocolate milk
new recipes
playdates
still in my pajamas
read a classic classic classic
used matches in a cardboard box
off-kilter dented globe
choose our better history
cloved cigarettes
under the tree
three trees
three od hags
kindly old hags
shield us from the passersby
gentle stream whispers sad refrains
gleams in fading light
dream catcher
whispers

traversing the moor

traversing the moor
with unsteady steps
i set forth
to make something
glorious
of this dusty life.
i claim only this:
my pen
and my unbending curiosity
